Cobra to strike BIG

WHEN it comes to motocross in the US, it’s easy to see the mark that Cobra Motorcycles have made in the Youth classes with over 200 national titles!

The unique youth motorcycle company has established itself alongside the bigger manufacturers through outright dominance, making its little yellow 50cc the premier machine to ride for aspiring youngsters. In September Cobra announced the release of the 2010 Big-wheel CX50, and this little monster has received rave reviews over performance, value for money and out-of-the-box-racing abilities.

Once a rider outgrows the CX50 its time to step up to a 65cc machine with the arrival of the 2010 CX65. Already Cobra is set to take the stage in the UK with the announcement of plans to support a five man team within the Red Bull Elite Youth Cup on the 2010 Cobra CX65s. Furthermore five UK dealers are stocked and ready for business.

With all the hype following the CX65, it seemed only logical that the bike got put through its paces to establish whether the pocket rocket lives up to the Cobra name. The Cobra CX65 is well-built and easy to work on and parts are easily accessible for experienced mechanics or clued-up parents. The factory make use of Allen-head bolts but everything is strong and easy to get to making the bike easy to set up, ready to be on the track in no time.
